1. Eligibility: The ECKRICH® Rose Bowl® Family Getaway Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Armour-Eckrich Meats LLC, Signature Sports Group, Inc., and their parent, subsidiaries, affiliate companies, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Restrictions apply. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2. Sponsor: Armour-Eckrich Meats LLC, 4225 Naperville Road, Suite 600, Lisle, IL 60532. Administrator: Signature Sports Group, Inc., 1300 South Mint St., Suite 405, Charlotte, NC 28203.
3. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on September 1, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on December 1, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
4. How to Enter: There are two methods of entry.
(a) Online Method: During the Promotion Period, visit www.eckrichfootball.com and follow the links and instructions to complete the registration. Complete and submit the registration including your name, valid home address (including city, state and zip code - P.O. Boxes are not permitted), day and evening phone numbers, email address and date of birth, and you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit: Each participant may enter using the Online Method one (1) time per day during the Promotion Period. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
(b) Mail-in Alternate Method: To enter without online access, hand print your name, valid home address (including city, state and zip code - P.O. Boxes are not permitted), day and evening phone numbers, email address (if any), and date of birth on a 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail it in a hand-addressed envelope with proper postage to “The ECKRICH® Rose Bowl® Family Getaway Sweepstakes”, c/o Signature Sports Group, Inc., 1300 South Mint Street, Suite 415, Charlotte, NC 28203. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit: Each participant may mail one (1) mail-in entry per day during the Promotion Period. All mail-in entries must be handwritten. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 1, 2009 and received by December 7, 2009. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor, and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, garbled, damaged, undeliverable, misdirected or postage-due entries, which will be disqualified. No mechanical reproduction of entries or facsimiles is permitted.
5. Drawings: Administrator is an independent judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of the potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Administrator will randomly select the potential Sweepstakes winners from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, on or around December 11, 2009. The potential winners will be notified by mail, email or telephone. If any potential Sweepstakes prize winners cannot be contacted within seventy two (72) hours after the first attempt to contact him/her, such potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate participant will be selected in his/her place at random from among all eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes. All Sweepstakes winners and traveling companions (if relevant), must sign (or have a parent/legal guardian sign should traveling companion be a minor in their legal state of residence) and return to Sponsor, within five (5) business days of being notified, an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability Release and, except where prohibited, a Publicity Release (collectively, the “Release Forms”) in order to claim his/her prize. In the event the Release Forms for a potential winner and any travel companions (if applicable) are not properly returned within five (5) days or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize (or the portion of the prize) may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Sweepstakes winner selected at random from all eligible entries received. Potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified or found ineligible for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held after which the prize will remain un-awarded.
6. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: Fifty-six (56) prizes will be awarded in total. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Limit one Grand Prize, First or Second Prize per person, address and/or household. Prizes and approximate retail values are as follows:
GRAND PRIZE (1 Winner) – The ECKRICH® Rose Bowl® Family Getaway VIP Trip -- One (1) Grand Prize winner will be awarded. The Grand Prize consists of a 4 day/3 night trip for six (6) to Pasadena, CA for the 2010 Rose Bowl® football game and Rose Parade®. Dates of the trip are December 31, 2009 through January 3, 2010. The trip includes: roundtrip travel for six (6) to Los Angeles International Airport; four (4) days and three (3) nights’ accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (three double rooms, double occupancy); a travel stipend of $1,000 to be paid to the Grand Prize winner by check; six (6) tickets to the 2010 Rose Bowl® game on January 1, 2010 and six (6) tickets to the 2010 Rose Parade® on January 1, 2010. “Roundtrip travel” is defined as coach class airfare, rail or other mode of transportation chosen by Sponsor from the major U.S. gateway airport or rail station closest to the Grand Prize winner’s home to Los Angeles International Airport. Travel must be roundtrip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight (or other mode of transportation) itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight or selected mode of transportation. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of winner and his or her travel companion(s). Any travel companion under 18 years of age as of the date of departure must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, at least one (1) travel companion must be winner’s parent/legal guardian. Each travel companion must execute Release Forms prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If the Grand Prize winner is unable to use all or any portion of the Grand Prize for any reason whatsoever, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the Grand Prize winner, and the Grand Prize or the applicable unused portion will be deemed forfeited. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. If actual value of Grand Prize is less than the stated ARV, or the Grand Prize winner or his/her eligible travel companions forfeit, do not use, or are ineligible for any portion of the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize will not receive the difference between the actual and approximate retail value, and such difference will be forfeited. Prizes are non-transferable except as approved by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. The Grand Prize winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use and will be issued an IRS FORM 1099 for the value of the prize. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $10,000.00
FIRST PRIZE - Five (5) First Prize winners will each be awarded a forty two (42) inch flat screen HDTV and an Eckrich Prize Pack. The Eckrich Prize Pack will include a $50 gift card to the supermarket of Sponsor’s choice and coupons to redeem at least $20.00 of free Eckrich product. Gift card subject to additional terms and conditions. Allow four weeks from prize acceptance and receipt of Release Forms for delivery. Items will be shipped to the address provided in the winner’s entry form. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $1,000.00
SECOND PRIZE – Fifty (50) Second Prize winners will each receive an autographed Kirk Herbstreit regulation college football. Allow four weeks from prize acceptance and receipt of Release Forms for delivery. Items will be shipped to the address provided in the winner’s entry form. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $75.00
Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) for all prizes = $18,750.00 Prizes consist only of those items specifically listed as part of the prize – any item, cost or expense not specifically listed shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution for prize offered or transfer of prize to a third party is permitted except as authorized by Sponsor. Non-cash prize may not be redeemed for cash value except as authorized by Sponsor. All federal, state and local taxes related to prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize recipient. Sponsor reserves the right to change or replace the prize at any time with a prize of greater or comparable value.
7. Release: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless, Armour-Eckrich Meats LLC, Signature Sports Group, Inc., and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, claims, or causes of action, losses or damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of or related to participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
8. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further payment, consideration or notification.
9. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or intervention, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other Promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
10. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, garbled, illegible, misdirected, postage-due, or stolen entries or mail; (6) cancellation or postponement of the Rose Bowl® or Rose Bowl Parade®; or (7) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
11. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate Illinois State Court, Illinois U.S.A.; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois, U.S.A. without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Illinois.

13. Winner List: For the complete winner list, write your name and complete address on a 3” x 5” card and send the card in a first class self-addressed stamped business envelope to: “The ECKRICH® Rose Bowl® Family Getaway Sweepstakes Winner List Request”, c/o Signature Sports Group, 1300 South Mint St., Suite 405, Charlotte, NC 28203. Requests must be received by March 30, 2010.
